Team Envy released Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo on Tuesday, two months after moving one of the team's original Valorant members to the bench.
"Today bid farewell to one of the members of our first VALORANT roster, @mummAy," the team tweeted. "From Wall Street to clicking heads, thank you for your time with us, and we wish you the best of luck in your next journey!"
mummAy, 27, joined Envy in July 2020 and competed in all three stages of the Valorant Champions Tour. But the team signed Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker in August, and he replaced mummAy in the lineup for Stage Three: Challengers Playoffs.
mummAy has been trialing with Andbox, including during the Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship Open Qualifiers.
He began his professional esports career in CS:GO, playing with teams including h00liGaNz, Rush, Pnda Gaming and SetToDestroyX from 2017-17. mummAy moved to Valorant in 2020, originally with together we are terrific before joining Envy two months later.
